The Municipal Civil Registry Office (MCRO), under Municipal Registrar Ms. Maria Corazon Padilla, took home set of awards for the Municipality of Agoo during the 35th Civil Registration Month Closing Ceremony, held on February 28, 2025 at the Conference Hall, PDRRMO Building, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The MCRO received three awards from various competitions conducted by Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-La Union Provincial Statistics Office for the celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month last February. Mr. Zairufh T. Paneda earned two awards in the Infographics Making Contest, Champion in the Province Level and 1st Runner-up in the Regional Finals. Another championship award was given to LGU Agoo for the Sayawit Contest, joined by the team of Mr. Arvin Derby Valdez, Mr. Michael Francis Razon, Ms. Glaiza Bustos, Mr. Albert John Villanueva, and Mx. Karen Jean Mislang, led by LGU Coordinator and Choreographer, Mr. Brent Jaylord Pera.
The awards were also presented to Mayor Frank O. Sibuma and other present officials and employees of the LGU earlier today, during the municipal flag-raising ceremony hosted by Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), under MSWD Officer Ms. Rhoda Panes.
Before the ceremony ends, the Agoo Sayawit team was asked to delight everyone with their winning performance.
Birthday celebrants this week were also recognized and received gifts from the LGU through the efforts of Human Resource Management Office, headed by Supervising Administrative Officer, Ms. Irene Boado.
The awards received by the LGU, through MCRO, are a manifestation of the cooperation that the office and the whole LGU practice to always bring pride and recognition to Agoo and our community, showcasing their unwavering dedication to excellence, service, and community empowerment. 💚
